Good news for Morgan Freeman.

The actor was released from a Tennessee hospital on Thursday.

Freeman was hospitalized after that horrible accident occurred which flipped his car over. It was so bad he had to be removed by crews using the jaws of life!

Luckily, Freeman is said to be "in good spirits" after being released.

In a statement released by his reps, the actor says, "I left the hospital today just after 12 noon, Memphis time. I'm doing very well. I feel real good. I just really, I thank the staff at 'Elvis Presley [Hospital]' and many, many thanks to my many well-wishers. It's great to know people care about you.”

Thankfully he survived. However, he will have to wear a neck brace for the next six to eight months or longer.

Better to be in a neck brace than to have died.

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Hilary Duff is THISCLOSE to parting ways with her label, Hollywood Records, the home of Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers.

We're told that the good old "creative differences" excuse is being given for the split, which is being finalized.

Hollywood Records had been pushing the Duffster to release a new record before year's end, we're told.

However, because of her desire for a new home, Hillary will now be releasing a greatest hits album in the fall (probably September) to quickly end her contract. This will actually be Duff's SECOND hits compilation. A bit of a stretch, no????

Oh, and yes, Miley was a deciding factor in the split. "Hilary didn't think the label has been giving her enough support and promotion as some of the other acts."

We're told the Duffster is currently in discussions with other labels.

Miley Cyrus wasn't Disney's first choice for the role of Hannah Montana!!!

Singer JoJo told TV's Extra that Disney approached her about the role but turned it down:

"Yeah, they [Disney] offered me the role…[But] it's not really what I see for myself. No regrets. No regrets at all."

Tim Burton is working on remaking Lewis Carroll's classic fairy tale Alice in Wonderland into a 3-D film.

The flick would be released some time in 2010.

Plans are for the movie to be live action until Alice jumps down the rabbit hole and her adventure begins.

Alice will be played by Aussie actress Mia Wasikowska from HBO's In Treatment.

Neither Disney nor Depp have confirmed the reports, but we have a feeling he might do it.
